For many years\, people believed that wolves howl at the moon. Wolves actually howl to communicate with one another. For example\, a wolf might howl to mean\, “I want to meet up with the pack” or “Here’s where I am”. During this adventure\, you will get a chance to do your own howling. DESCRIPTION:Families are welcome to our first annual Pack Bonfire! This year it will be held at the Pick Pavilion at Ridge Run Park West in West Bend.You can see the flyer here: 2019-2020 Pack Bonfire Flyer \nFestivities will start at 7:00 p.m. and will include glow-in-the-dark games\, constellation viewing\, s’mores\, and a bonfire! \nScouts do NOT need to be in uniform for this event. \nPlease bring bug spray\, lawn chairs\, marshmallow roasting sticks\, and blankets. \nThe pavilion is ours for the day\, so if you would like to bring a picnic beforehand\, you are welcome to do so. Also\, there is a playground and a sand volleyball court close to the pavilion for us to use. \nPlease note\, you cannot get to the Pick Pavilion from the East entrance. To get to the West entrance\, you must take West Washington Street to Scenic Drive\, then South to Wheat Ridge Lane and the park entrance. DESCRIPTION:Lets go back over the neighborhoods we distributed bags to last week\, and see what food was left out for us.  We take several vans of kids around\, and collect all the scouting for food bags\, hopefully full of donations for the needy.  We need lots of help\, and the more drivers\, the shorter the routes will be. \nWe will collect all the food in one spot\, then deliver it to the local food pantry. \nTimes will be announced closer to the event.

DESCRIPTION:Come help us distribute our Scouting for Food bags.  We hang them on mailboxes and door handles to ask the community to help those in need of food.  There will be several drivers who will cart the scouts around through neighborhoods.  It usually takes a few hours to distribute them all\, but the more hands we have\, the faster the work will go! \nSpecific times will be announced as the day draws nearer.
