Richfield Cub Scout Pack 157 Newsletter – September 2022

WELCOME TO THE 2022-2023 CUB SCOUTING YEAR!!

Hello Scout Families!!!

Hopefully everyone is having a GREAT Labor Day weekend!

Although none of us want to see Summer come to an end, we all should be happy because we are now in the 22-23 Scouting Season!

That means a whole new group of Scouts joining our Pack and a new calendar of events, with new overnights and new venues for our annual events!

In this newsletter we will cover: FAMILY NIGHT, JOIN SCOUTS DAY, UPDATING YOUR CONTACT INFO & THE FALL PRODUCT SALES!

Also, Happy Anniversary to the Pack Newsletter!

A year ago, the newsletter’s main purpose was to be a place for the Pack to get updated information on Pack Events as well as Important Pack Updates and Announcements. It has evolved from a print newsletter to an online newsletter that lives on our Pack website. We believe it is serving its purpose but we are always looking for ways to improve. If you have any improvements you think we can make to the newsletter, please share!

FAMILY NIGHT 2022

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 8TH: 6 – 730pm

We hope to see everyone that can make it to this year’s FAMILY NIGHT @ Friess Lake Elementary.

This is a PACK MEETING where we will be going over the 22-23 Pack Calendar and important Pack Updates.

Also that night, we will be welcoming any NEW Scouts that join our Pack!!

We hope to see you all there but if you are unable to make it, all handouts can be emailed.

PLEASE UPDATE YOUR CONTACT INFO TODAY!

We need EVERYONE to update their contact information EVERY YEAR, even if it has stayed the same. This ensures we always have the most current information for each Scout Family. THANK YOU to those families that have already completed the form.
NOTE: We hate to see anyone go….BUT If you do not wish to continue with our Pack, you can indicate so on the form linked above. We will remove you from future emails.

SEPTEMBER 6TH is JOIN SCOUTING DAY!

REPRESENT OUR PACK AT SCHOOL TOMORROW!

We are asking that all Scouts go to school with their uniforms on to show pride in Pack 157! We highly recommend that you DO NOT have them wear a neckerchief as that could get lost during the day.

1ST PLACE PARADE FLOAT WINNERS!!!

A big THANK YOU to ALL of the Scouts, Parents & Leaders that helped with this year’s Richfield Days Parade Float. We took 1st Place!! The response to this year’s float was amazing!! Everyone did a great job!!
