SPRING IS FINALLY HERE!!
Hello Scout Families!!!
Spring has FINALLY sprung!
This month is the highly anticipated PINEWOOD DERBY! And let’s not forget today is Easter!
Hopefully, you have had time to get your Pinewood Derby Cars ready! If not, you still have time!
This month’s newsletter covers all the important information for Race Day!
We look forward to seeing the hard work all of the Scouts & Parents have put into their cars this year!

GET INVOLVED!
Cub Scout Pack 157 needs you, our Scout parents, to help run the Pack! Find out how you can become more involved by attending one of our Parent Committee Meetings. We meet once a month at either the Richfield Village Hall, or before/after a Pack Event. Everyone’s time is valuable and we try to make the meetings accessible to everyone.

April 16th @ Sterling Chalet
12:45pm – Car Weigh-In & Tuning
1:45pm – PACK Meeting & Awards
2:00pm – Race Starts!
ALL SCOUTS SHOULD BE IN CLASS A UNIFORMS!
NEW THIS YEAR!!
This year we are asking families to get creative not only with their race cars but with a snack they plan to bring. We are asking families to bring one snack to share. Get creative on the snack to look like a derby snack. Cheese cut out in the shape of a car, pretzels dipped in chocolate (dip sticks), chocolate donuts (race car tires), stoplight fruit kabobs, Chex mix (nuts and bolts), and lemonade (antifreeze) are just a few ideas. The boys will vote on the most creative and a winner will be announced.

ATTENTION SCOUT PARENTS!
Immediately after cleanup of the Pinewood Derby we will be holding our MONTHLY PARENT COMMITTEE MEETING.
We welcome ALL parents to join us to discuss planning for May’s Events (River Rats, Den Meetings, Etc.).
We hold most of our Monthly Parent Committee Meeting after all major events.
Help play an active role in your son’s Scouting Journey!
