Hello Everyone,
I wanted to let you all know that we will be meeting on Wednesday at 6pm in the FACE room at Fries lake School.

If you can please email me and let me know if you are able to attend or not.

I would like to introduce Carissa Wittig as our Assistant Den Leader. She and I have come up with some fun ways to learn our Bobcat requirements.

On Wednesday we are going to:
– Go over the uniform and try on some items.(If you do not have your uniform yet no worries, I have some extra shirts that the boys can try on and learn to tie the Neckerchiefs and get some of the basics down)
– We will break into 3 small groups and work on…
– Building the Scout Oath out of Legos
-Pin the Scout law on the Scout (no pins involved!! hahaha)
– Learn the Scout sign & Scout Handshake
-Have a snack and sign up for a spot on the future snack schedule (please let us know of any food allergies and siblings that might be in attendance when you reply back to this email so that Carissa and I can plan accordingly to accommodate)
-We will get back together as one group and going over the Motto and Salute. We will also discuss the new LSO (Living the Scout Oath program)
-We are also going to decorate a name tag to use this year.

There will be homework assigned to bring to pack hike. No worries it is nothing hard it is just a few items to make sure each scout has with them for the hike and we will go over these items and why they are important on Wednesday.
